Eddie and I had a great date day with an excursion to Blue Mountain Lake to explore the Adirondack Museum. We are history nerds and love learning new things. It was a fabulous day. I had been there many, many times before and was excited to show Eddie the awesomeness of the place. It had tons of buildings to walk through and learn about the history of the Adirondacks. We learned about tourism, transportation (trains, wagons, boats), industry (lumber mainly), life in the harsh land, and took in the beautiful sights.
After a horrific night of sleep, due to the fact of crazy heat with no air conditioning, it was a welcome respite of cooler weather and lovely breezes. We had a wonderful lunch overlooking the beautiful Blue Mountain Lake. This is an impressive museum for the area and we had a blast looking at everything.
Off to New England tomorrow...
